Guidelines for Prayer Requests
โ Encouraged Prayer Requests
- Health & Healing: Physical, mental, and emotional healing for yourself or loved ones
- Guidance & Wisdom: Seeking direction in life decisions or difficult situations
- Comfort & Peace: Support during times of grief, loss, or anxiety
- Relationships: Healing and strengthening of family and personal relationships
- Spiritual Growth: Requests for deeper faith and spiritual understanding
- Gratitude: Sharing thankfulness and celebrating answered prayers
- Community Needs: Prayers for local and global challenges
โ Inappropriate Requests
- Requests for harm to come to others
- Prayers for illegal activities or unethical behavior
- Commercial or promotional content
- Requests that include personal identifying information
- Content that mocks or tests the prayer process
- Graphic descriptions of violence or trauma
- Requests that promote discrimination or hatred
Guidelines for Offering Prayer Support
How to Pray for Others
- Pray with Sincerity: Offer genuine, heartfelt prayer for each request
- Respect Different Traditions: Honor various ways people understand and practice prayer
- Maintain Confidentiality: Keep prayer requests private and don't share them elsewhere
- Avoid Judgment: Pray without judging the person or their situation
- Be Consistent: Try to pray regularly for requests you've committed to
Offering Encouragement
When appropriate, you may offer brief, supportive messages that:
- Provide comfort and hope
- Share relevant spiritual insights (respectfully)
- Offer continued prayer support
- Express genuine care and compassion

- Offer prayer and spiritual support within your comfort level
- Avoid giving medical, legal, or professional advice
- Encourage seeking appropriate professional help when needed
- Report concerning content to our moderation team
- Remember that prayer complements but doesn't replace professional care
Communication Guidelines
Tone and Language
- Use kind, gentle, and encouraging language
- Avoid harsh judgment or criticism
- Keep language family-friendly and appropriate
- Be mindful of cultural and linguistic differences
- Express disagreement respectfully if necessary
What Not to Share
- Personal contact information (yours or others')
- Graphic details of traumatic experiences
- Political opinions or controversial topics
- Commercial advertisements or solicitations
- Content that could identify anonymous users
Volunteer Community Guidelines
Additional Responsibilities
Volunteers and active community members have additional responsibilities:
- Model positive behavior for other community members
- Help newcomers understand our community guidelines
- Report violations promptly and appropriately
- Participate in community building activities
- Provide feedback to help improve our services
Reporting and Moderation
When to Report
Please report content or behavior that:
- Violates our community guidelines
- Makes you or others feel unsafe
- Appears to be spam or commercial content
- Seems to mock or abuse the prayer process
- Contains inappropriate or harmful content
